Hi Connie - Tip the plant on its side so that most of the excess water pours out. Then, do not add any water until the leaves start to wilt a bit from dryness. When you do water add just enough so that it starts to wilt again an about a week. You will have to experiment a bit to determine the right amount.

If the leaves do not perk up soon, then that is probably because the roots have already rotted and are no longer able to absorb water for the plant. In that case, it is probably too late to do anything. I hope that is not the case, but it may be.

Good luck with it!
