TYVM! I've been watering it so gently, with a heavy mist setting on my hose. When I push gently on the surface, my finger doesn't poke a hole like the first day, so the soil seems to be setting in place nicely. I think it will be past the danger of compacting and ready for the "stuff" next weekend, though I'm not crazy about the arrangement of the plants... I may move some things around & wait a couple weeks just to make sure the soil level is high enough.
