Got as far as Brenham and Washington on-the -brazos, but didn't see huge fields of bluebonnets nor Indian paintbrush. We must not have gone far enough.

Did enjoy our Texas history tour at Washington on the brazos museum and Dr. Anson jones' farm. It is a working farm and the smokehouse was smoking meat. They plant the same plants that were growing in 1850. We even received souvenir gourd seeds.

The two photos taken in the First Baptist Chappell hill's field. The visitor center at Brenham told us about it as we headed back to Houston.
