I repotted, washed the plants, used systemics, sprayed, used the yellow sticky traps, peroxide, even tried the cut potato trick. And I still had aphids and white flies. Oh and alcohol wipes and spray and soap solution. And foolishly tried to overwinter some in my GH. Aaaaakkkk! That's one of the reasons my garden isn't doing as well this year; the GH got infested, too. We even used a fogger in the GH. Killed off the wasps that were "bugging" me, and the flies, but didn't touch the aphids or white flies. Not going there again! I'll keep a couple of houseplants, but not even going to try overwintering again! Well, except for a couple of gerberas maybe. And that darn gaura that keeps living in spite of me. Hilarious! And my little red geraniums (yes, I know they're really pelargoniums, but I've been calling them geraniums since I was a kid. Smiling )--the aphids don't seem to like them! Hee hee, maybe my problem is I'm too greedy?
Confidence is that feeling you have right before you do something really stupid.
