I also use the Brother P-touch TZ Labels most of mine have been in use for well over eight years and are still readable not fading much if at all. One tip is to turn your labels to face north if possible to keep the sun from beating on them. A few of mine are starting to peel a little so they get replaced as needed the majority of them are not peeling. I use the see-fine steel stakes which the labels stick to very well.
If you want to be happy for a lifetime plant a garden!
