I did not say you need it...but PLEASE try it.. a little balsamic - few tablespoons ?? and a heaping spoon of honey..it should be thick when you stir stir stir..I add a tiny bit of minced fresh garlic amd a pinch of celery seed and a teaspoon of olive oil or bacon fat.. oil soreads it
It is untouchable for flavor.
