Eric4home said:Rita, we are zone 6, not quite sure where the line is for A&B. Since we are in the hills I'd say the cooler of the 2. Our forsythia still has blooms and the leaves are just emerging. Asian pears opened last week and apples are about on time with Easter as the target. I've seen potatoes planted on Good Friday catch a frost, but only enough that they all looked like they'd been pinched, tremendous top growth and a BIG harvest.

Forsythia in the front yard here and around town is currently blooming. The Asian pears are just opening. Flowering cherry tress are blooming around town.

Crocus have finished but daffs are going strong. Early tulip types have just started blooming.

Things look pretty and I just love spring.

But the only things can be out in the veggie garden now are the cold hardy cabbage family things and lettuce type greens, onions and of course peas.

I am taking my home grown tomato seedlings outside for the day each day to harden them off to get ready for planting.
