I have found Hyperion to be a great perennial border plant. I have it at the back of one of my long perennial borders and it is nice and tall and the fragrant clear lemon blooms look lovely above the lower growing plants in front. I have it beside a clump of blue veronica and the yellow and blue make a pretty garden picture. This is a great daylily and at 40 inches tall, it can make a nice backdrop to many other perennials.
This is a daylily with staying power. It was registered in 1924, and is still popular!
