Hey, Lynne!!! Hurray! Hurray! Hurray!

Those are ASSASSIN bugs, good predators in your garden. The two links both identify Stinkbugs, which are NOT welcome in the garden!

Here's how you tell them apart:
Stinkbugs have a BLACK BUMP on their BUTTS. Remember "Black bump butt" = STINKBUG
Stinkbugs also travel and hang out in "congregations" or "clusters" of insects.

Assassin bugs do NOT have a black bump on their butts, and, true to assassin form, they travel mostly solo, or, in very small clusters, with space between each bug, like in your picture...

And, yes, I know this is an old thread, but, I couldn't let this go...
