I've had my pocket hose with brass fittings for 3 years now and I love it. I had 4 of the cheaper ones with plastic fittings and they didn't last a year. I do worry about it getting caught on a thorn or wood snag and ripping tho.

The pocket hose does have another drawback too. I water my gardens from 4 rain barrels and there's not enough pressure to get the water out of the barrels. It just dribbles out of the barrel so I have to use a rubber hose for them. Has anyone had success with pocket hoses and rain barrels? if so, what did you do?

Now I see there's a new hose out that's wrapped in stainless steel and suppose to be puncture proof. Here's a link. It sounds worth looking into. Right now its 2 for the price of one. It sounds like a reel deel! Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Has anyone used it?
