It really took off, didn't it? Lovely tree....we have redbuds in our downtown area, planted by one of the HS classes....they are marginally hardy here......many have died, but the few remaining are very pretty! I'll check out HD for the repellent someone told me they have white creeping phlox which I'm planting on the road side of my fence.....
