I am willing to assist in planting and harvesting seeds. I am just North of Stacy and have open area's where watermelons can run uninterrupted. The land has not been farmed (I know of in the last 15 years) and probably not even prior to that. We just purchased the land/home late last year and all of our gardens are in raised beds (not due to soil - just get cranky bending over) . Soil is well drained, pretty much sand after 6-12 inches. I have wet areas / full sun/ partial/full shade, I also have 750 gallons of captured rainwater waiting to be used during our summer heat.
