I've been feeding him or her for a while, on occasion, near the pool in our apartment complex. He's just figured out where we live! Our cat Willie invites her in, yells at me to feed her, plays with her; I think they're buds. This is the boldest & closest she's gotten with me out there.
You know how it works with cats, you don't adopt them; they adopt you! If he'll eventually let me, I'd get him fixed at the very least.
He says his name is Hank, but it may be Henrietta. My husband calls him Henri, but then he can trill (my husband, that is; not sure about the cat).
