I just saw this thread and I must say ya'lls creativity in researching this has been interesting. I just spent 7 months in search of an old pharmacy bottle for my daughter - so I can at least somewhat relate. Maybe I needed your help with that because you all have great ideas!
I am curious, did your venture start just because of the name Baby Keith? since I believe you said in one of the early posts that you haven't actually seen the daylily. I find it fascinating how many thousands of daylilies there are out there - and more being added every year. I must say, I never thought about the fact that the name couldn't be repeated - guess I knew that, just never thought about it from that perspective. I live about 3.5 hrs from Jackson, and from the looks of things, would probably be about the same distance to the No Mistake Plantation. I live in South Arkansas - so if you get to the point that you need someone in a southern state to plant some (assuming you locate them) I would be happy to help. Have you seen photos of any of her DLs or just read the names? Just curious what started the search.............. but I love a good hunt! LOL Best of luck...............
