I have to grow my bloodroot in containers, the voles eat the tubers at my house.
At another garden, the property owner has a bad habit of walking around with a round-up sprayer.... lost several patches of bloodroot... my working theory is that in spraying the chickweed, dormant bloodroot is being killed.
