Gita, you asked about the stamen in a previous post. They are the little soldiers that hold the pollen. So if she or you can look inside one of the flowers you can count them as David suggested.
I can see it now--me sitting and counting the stamens in a bloom....
I will relay all this to my DD. Not sure she cares--but does want to know the name of this( Azalea (?..)
