I have been thinking more about wasted water lately since we went on restrictions recently. I found a couple ways I could save. I have a hot water heater that is so far away from the kitchen it takes forever to get the water hot to start the dishwasher. I have started running water into large coffee containers and setting aside until I get the water hot. Then I cooked corn on the cob today....just couldn't dump that water down the drain. So it along with the water in the coffee cans will get poured on my dry water thirsty garden this afternoon. Big Grin
I thought about setting a 5 gallon bucket in the pantry to collect the water, but then I couldn't lift it!! Rolling on the floor laughing
