Hi all. I bought a bunch of ramps (Allium tricoccum) from the greenmarket that were probably unsustainably harvested - they have the roots on the bottom. I cut off the roots and about 1/4" of the bulb from each, so I have a bunch of roots now. I'm wondering if anyone's had success replanting the roots and growing your own ramps.

I know the conventional wisdom on ramps is that they only grow wild, but I've seen a few articles about growing your own. So has anyone had success doing this, and if so, any advice on what to do? For reference, I'm in Zone 7A (NY). Thanks!
