Zuzu, that thread on buff colored roses got me started on a whole new collection. I LOVE those colors, and the photos that you and Sue post feed that craving! Buff roses blend well with plum and burgundy trees and shrubs, and I have many of those. Right now, most of the ones I want are only available at Roses Unlimited, and their shipping is very expensive. Are they shipping one gallons, or bands? I can't remember, and I can't seem to find that info on their new site. Burling carries quite a few of the russets also. Who else might have a good selection?
Did anyone order from the 5/$60 sale at J & P? The newer ones are tempting because they have strong fragrance, but I have not seen them or smelled them in person.
I can't believe I had to water today after all the rain we've had. Temps have been in 80s for 3 days, with wind of course, so newly planted items are thirsty. I'm wanting to pull weeds, not water, because I have someone coming on Thursday to take photos for a tour flier. The tour won't be for another year, but they need the photos ahead of time for registration. I wish they had given me more than a weeks' notice! My brain and body are frazzled. I know I promised photos, but I can't seem to get time to go anywhere to upload them.
Remember that children, marriages, and flower gardens reflect the kind of care they get.
