I love your story . I recently went to a nursery looking for a lilac tree . A gentleman working there led me to wisteria vines and explained how to keep trimming them into a tree . Then proceeded to show me a wisteria tree planted in ground on the property . Hard to explain , ill try , probably just get your hands around the trunk , five maybe six feet tall and shaped like a wine glass . Full of purple flowers like yours . Beautiful . My mother had to move from a crumbling farm house and left her wisteria which is probably looking like where you got yours . Well I left the nursery with two wisteria vines about 3 feet tall with a few nice buds . The man who sold them to us , me , my mother and sister asked if we were going to let it grow as a vine or tree . After a brief pause I replied we were going to plant them first then decide . I had a place in mind to plant them and let them vine . After reading your story I'm not so sure . But I am smiling . Thanks .
