I find it very rewarding to give away fresh picked vegetables. People really seem to appreciate it and it gives me such satisfaction to be able to share with friends and neighbors.
I don't need to know someone well to give them veggies. I give them to the local mailmen, the UPS Driver, my car mechanic, the local park gatekeeper, all the people I talk to walking my dog (that usually also have dogs), my neighbors all thru the block and my friends.
