I didn't realize there was any situation where people were vaccinated against rabies before exposure was suspected... good post, Greene!

as far as fleas and ticks -- it would be more a vaccine against the diseases they carry that would be needed. The products for pets just kill the fleas and ticks, they don't vaccinate against the diseases; although there is a vaccine for Lyme, which is carried by ticks.
