Jim's back in WInston-Salem this week, so Joyanna and I had mac & cheese from a box tonight! Wegman's makes a nice white cheddar version with shells, and we do it with either sour cream or greek yogurt instead of milk & butter. We also added baby peas, and I had chicken sausage with mine (Joyanna opted for a hot dog). Tomorrow night we'll probably make rice and have some "Tasty Bites" lentils with it, plus plain yogurt and homemade chutney. LOL, I don't think I even want to know what they eat when I'm not around.

I just came across a website for Monin syrups, which we love. First found them at a chef supply place near Jim's parents, and they have a fresher flavor than any other brand of soda syrup -- use them in smoothies, on shaved ice, in lemonade, with the soda stream.. Joyanna and her friends like them in milk.. anyway, if you see this tonight, they have 20% off today only with the coupon MayMonday. But get on their email list anytime and I think that's worth 10% off... plus I betcha they'll do another "Monin Monday" for Memorial Day. Their sugar free syrups taste like they cheat and add sugar, and their regular syrups taste like fresh fruit. monin.com
