Dear Doris, I was not in love with the colour either but I did not design it! In a Historic Royal Palace they should have left the walls as they were in the stone colour, not in that colour! Personally I would have left the plants to do the talking in colours as they were superb.
We have just come back from Norfolk, and the weather was awful with a force 10 gale! The Guesthouse we were staying in on the seafront was getting hit by the sea it was so bad!
However we did find a thatched pub in a village on the way and it was beautiful. Lovely homemade pies, proper beers, what England is all about. Just behind the pub was a 11th century church and I was amazed by it, I kid you not it was awesome. So I had to see it, even in the wind; mind blowing inside it as well, and built in early 1040AD.
I Hope you are well?
Loads of love.
