Dear Connie, we have just come back from Norfolk and it was blowing a force 10 gale! On the way we found a thatched roof pub that was very old and thatched and had steak and onion pie. All the vegetables came from the pubs walled garden. But behind the pub was an 11th century church, well it was built in 1049 and has a thatched roof. So despite the wind I had to go and see it and it was so beautiful.
Stayed in a Guesthouse on the sea front and the wind and rain were horrendous. The sea was hitting the house, it was that bad. Don't worry still found a pub!
Hugs.
Neil.
