Chantell, most of the yellow roses that are claimed to have strong fragrance have lemon, fruity fragrance. My nose cannot detect the fragrance, sometimes just barely, certainly not strong. I have Julia Child, it is pretty, but not strongly fragrant. My Doris Day did not make it. Here is a catalog from Edmundsroses that has lots of fragrant roses. And you can also look according to color. https://www.edmundsroses.com/P....
For my nose, the most fragrant roses are Papa Meilland (dark red), The McCartney Rose (beautiful pink), and Ebb Tide or Twilight Zone (I do not remember which). The roses that to me are fragrant are usually pink, red, and purplish, and that is why most of my roses are that color. I will go to a rose garden today. Will write again which yellow rose is fragrant. This garden has heirloom roses. He has open garden tours on Memorial Weekends. 9-noon.
Better yet, you can go there yourself. I am going there with Arlington Rose Foundation. Info:
