Kid, I really like the saturated color on your first/top reddish one from yesterday.

Shirlee, you have some nice big ones there! I like #s 2 and 4.

One of my seedlings bloomed again today, the sort-of pinkish one that was labeled BELLE OF ASHWOOD x MYSTICAL INTUITION. (I didn't get a picture today until mid afternoon, at which point the lavender had somewhat slicked/faded/burned off in the sun and our dry air.) After looking up Petit's images of MYSTICAL INTUITION again, I am convinced that my plant isn't... (I should have remembered that I sent the nursery an inquiry, to which they never responded. Glare ) So this seedling (and all of its siblings) is really BELLE OF ASHWOOD x unknown, I guess.

I am getting more fascinated with this one. I can't quite figure out the color... is it a salmon overlaid with lavender towards the tepal ends, is there cream in there, or what? Confused It has a good sized bloom, it opens well, it has diamond dusting and a narrow double edge of violet and gold (the violet is sometimes hard to see), so flower face-wise what's not to like? (Well, it could be poly... excepting I didn't use a poly parent. And the edging could be a bit more distinct.)

I guess this will be one of the "keepers" (to play with) from this season.

Evaluating an iris seedling, hopefully for rebloom
