It's not close. They're saying it's contained, but they'll be watching for new problems for several days. At least S.A. area has one advantage...they have a whole city of regular FDs to draw from, plus in this case the military was involved, since it endangered two military camps, Bullis and Stanley. In the Bastrop area, what fire-fighting units they had available was never adequate at any point (although they did pretty good with what they did have), hopefully now that the feds are there it can be contained.
