The funny part is my FF was supposed to be Miss Piggy a white fringed. Both are shorter than most orientals.
I bought Manhattan and Harlem from Garden Crossings.Pricey but they were the only pink poppies I could find.
Miss Piggy came from Polly K along with a Picotee which died. I have had FF aka Miss Piggy for 3 years,this is the first year it has bloomed.
Yes I want a true coral poppy I think the fringed is really pretty but it's the color I'm after most. I have tried so many but still no luck. I bought an unnamed pot at a local nursery last year while it was blooming the perfect color I want but as soon as I planted it I noticed it must have been two plants in the pot because the rest of the flowers were orange! So I tried splitting it to get the pink separated but now I have only a puny little plant where I thought I planted it. And have planted others previously. It is so weird because the orange one is huge and thriving just a couple feet from where I have no luck with all the coral pinks keep trying. I gave the rest of the plant away so unfortunately I probably gave them the pink one too. :(

This is my Princess Victoria Louise that's supposed to be coral pink and as you can see it is no where near coral for me!
I've also tried ordering Coral Reef and it died. I am just having no luck with coral but I got a white one last year and that one is fine too. It is weird right!?
