Finally!!! I was wondering when and where I could post a reply to any of the above.

JUdy--

1-- I just bought 4-- 5" pots of Tropical Milkweed at "MD Flower and Foliage".
Now to decide where to put them???? Don't have much sun anywhere....
The only bed that has any space (but not much sun) is in my raised bed (with the yukkie soil) . It also does not get full sun. Two strikes against me!

2---BUT!!!!! In this same yukkie bed--my Swamp Milkweed is regenerating. YES!!!
Last summer it did not even grow. We all are SOOOO behind times this year....

3--Sally--Patience is what it all is re Epis. Your blooms are beautiful!
I would say this Epi is what I call #1.
#2 is the dazzler-with the huge hot pink blooms.
As crumpy as mine look--(I transplanted both mine in fresh soil) they usually send out some gorgeous blooms in July. Will see what all that fresh soil and re-potting does. So many of the dried up fronds are dead and brittle and trashed.. --
BUT--even from these dried up stems--new life will come--with small. new pips of growth coming forth. NO fussing required on these Epis.

My Ric-Rac Cactus is taking over my shelves. They grow and grow--and hang down
all over the place. I am willing to cut up one of them to share. They root easily.
Don't hope for any blooms for a few years. I ONLY saw onr in all the years I had mine.

I have also taking cuttings from the "Small, white/w-pink centers (?) Mums" that blooms really late in the fall. A nice, full clumping/mounding Mum that propagates so easily. I just took 8 cuttings and they are now in pots. Can do more!

Other than the above--nothing else comes to mind right now. Stay tuned!!!
