I did a few pollinations, took some notes and pictures, and did a little deadheading. The last few days were cooler than they usually are this time of year, and the nighttime temp was 53 degrees (also maybe a bit cooler than usual, though we always have cool nights). If nothing else, that helps to sort out which seedlings are worth another look. (Daylilies that can't handle our cool nights are a pet peeve of mine.) This seedling is fairly plain looking, but I like yellow (and diamond dusting Sticking tongue out )and you can't fault it for not opening! Thumbs up
