I just (finally)planted out the 4 pots of Tropical Milkweed I bought at Richardson's.
The best "accommodations" I could offer is the front of my raised bed in the back yard.
This bed is so-many shortcomings in many ways.
--No direct sun.......only the sun that passes over.
--NOT good soil in it either--my fault. When I ordered 2 cf of "Top Soil"--(NOT Garden soil"! I got got what I asked for--CRAP! Live and learn.

Over the years--with me adding good soil now and then as I plant things out--has improved it some. Still--it is not as good as it could be.

Also--My Maple tree found a new place to expand to.... Hurray!
It is fine roots everywhere...To dig a hole for planting--I have to spend half an hour digging out a planting space. The maple roots are killers...

I am still impressed how many perennials come up and bloom away. Thinks look really well...Anyone interested in the Tall Amaranth? (10") The one you all saw in my picture
a couple years ago? The seedlings are coming up now--like crazy. I potted about 6 of them just in case someone wanted to grow them. They are impressive,,,,
