Reading this just now I see where I have or have had many of the same favorites. The only one I didn't see mentioned is my current favorite: the Cobrahead Weeder & Cultivator!

I only found out last year that they make a long handled one. But I think I'll stick with what I have for now. It has a blue handle that makes it easy to spot.
Here's a tip for finding those tools that you set down and lost sight of. Buy some bright yellow nail polish (99 cents at Walgreens) and paint a little (or a lot) on both sides of the handles. Has worked great on my many hand pruners.
