I went down and pulled 23 old scapes off of one of my clumps of 'Jolyene Nichole'. They all displayed 2 way branching and only averaged 5 buds per scape. The scapes averaged 16 inches tall. My blooms today were about 5.5 inches, they are often larger. So the stats are not very impressive at all, yet this plant has provided tons of blooms. Some of the first round of rebloom scapes are about bloomed out, and there are new scapes already in place to replace the first round of reblooms with a second round of reblooms. If the blooms were on scapes a few inches taller this would be an absolute favorite with many more gardeners. The blooms are normally just above the foliage and are often down in the foliage.

Edited to add: First blooms this year were on April 16 2017, and it has many blooming days still left! I did not keep close watch, but their have been few days since then that this plant did not have blooms.
