I agree Karen. I had trees removed around the house last summer without thinking of my plants. When it came time to move them out, there was only sunny areas.

I formed a 'cheesy' looking shade house and covered it with shade cloth for the tender plants. They really perked up when put in the shade.

JavaMom ~ look in the garden center at Walmart or Lowes or Home Depot. They have bolts of shade cloth that aren't priced too crazy. Perhaps you can fashion some improvised shade for the plants.
