Yes, I have a 30% Aluminet piece about 6ft. X 8ft. for the hottest sun times here, but to be honest, haven't deployed it yet. Last year I had it right on the top of the pool cage (which also gives my orchids about 20% shade anyway) to shade through the middle of the day. This year I have a big oak branch on the east side, and leaning bamboo on the west side, so actually am finding myself a bit short of sunlight.

The 30% has worked well for what I need, and if I need more shade, I just fold it in half to double the shade factor for things like seedlings. Aluminet really does keep it cooler, too.
