Life is "mind over matter". If I d
My neighbors 3s weet girls (youngish--smart--beautiful---) came to hang around on my porch swing today. I was outside watering everything (of course!) and they all got to
plant some Spider Plants babies.
I had 2 in water--so we used them. Then--i decided to take a cutting off of my big, curly Spider plant in the heavy HB it was in.
I took it down--and said WHO!! We cannot use this one--it has a nest in it.!!!
There was a clump of roots all in a bundle..like as if I had gathered a hand-full of
hair roots from my digging around. I carefully put it back.
I bet this was a wren building a nest in there. I have to keep an eye on this HB.

I will never forget the year a Wren built a nest in my big flower pot sitting on a stump.
I did not know what it was--but every time I came close--it would shriek and bitch at me. When I discovered the nest--it already has 2 eggs in it. Later--I saw 2 fledlings
sitting in the nest. They were not in there a long time...

Now I see a Robin quite often searching for "goodies"--quite close to my patio .
