I should really go get a better picture, but check out this one
purple--blooms plus silvery, feathery seed heads--this one pretty much goes like this all summer, date on that pic is 8-24.
It's not a climber, more like an 18" sprawling clump that wanders a bit thru low stuff
But, there are so many kinds, really check 'em out--I'm sure you could find some to be a fan of
