My one attempt to shop Grocery Outlet was a fail. Totally opposite the Aldi concept of charging for carts, the clerks at GO didn't have a clue about reuseable bags. I almost always bring my own and when I offered them to the clerk, she just bagged into plastic then put the plastic bags into my totes. I quickly corrected that, but sheesh. Lots of stange (to me) brands, lots of junk/packaged food. Fairly good wine selection at decent prices. Probably good for basic canned goods, but I'm not even sure if they carried anything organic (don't recall, so I could be mis-remembering). I'll stick to my tried and true Haggen which is 5 minutes from my home, a bit more expensive, but I know where everything is. I'm lazy.
I want to live in a world where the chicken can cross the road without its motives being questioned.
