Jamie, that pattern does look like an ace of spades also.
Funny how these patterns can remind us of other things.
I posted one in June that looks just like it has a written word
on a sepal, or at least it does to me.
The pattern posted above is not a complicated one, but it is rather large for the bloom, so it shows up, more so in the garden though.
