yea, whatever any plant really is down here you need to know the local name as no one uses latin names. I've only been to one nursery (and that was in Mexico City) where they actually labeled a plant with the latin name too. Eh, if I can recognize it as something I have seen and want then I get it. Most of them I will never know what they really are and if you add in hybrids well... it's endless.
It's only 80°f but the humidity is 84%. It actually feels chilly and last night I woke up cold and had to get up for another blanket. That's hard, you have this little pocket of almost warmth and you have to throw it off to eventually get more warmth. While I was up I filled a hot water bottle too for my feet, I swear my feet are never warm.
Today I waited over an hour for the car to be washed and detailed. As I was driving out of the car wash it started to rain. I went to the grocery and when I came out it was pouring. So, all the way home I was driving through 3 or 4 inches of dirty water at every intersection. Maybe I should have gotten the rain insurance. I didn't read the whole pamphlet but it seems if you get it and it rains that day you can come back for free the next day to have the car wiped down. Not really worth it in this season. Anyway, they vacuumed and cleaned the inside which is what matters most to me. The guys who unload your cart into your car at the grocery store had umbrellas which they put over me instead of the groceries, that was nice. All that and I still don't have to water
