At noon, it is 80°f with 85% humidity. It feels cold and I have been sleeping under a pile of blankets because I need to sleep with the dehumidifier on and that drops the temp even lower. Monsoon rains have covered the city every afternoon for 3 days, so no break for anyone. Lots of slow drains mean most intersections are flooded while it is raining. The big snafoo of the last city administration, a huge tunnel under a couple major intersections, is still leaking and flooding. The new administration, a different party, said they tried to fix it when they came in but it clearly didn't work. Pictures in the press of cars stuck down there up to the doors in water. What is most annoying is the back up on the one lane that goes around it. No one wants to drive down there in the rain so it is backed up for blocks. dumb, dumb, dumb
A day without sunshine is like, you know, night.
