Crinums have offsets just like daffodils.
Unlike daffodils, cinum have monster sized bulbs.
I would wait till frost, or until spring (even better)...
Then dig a large very large root ball.
Also deep!
Can't tell you how many I've cut through, not digging deep or wide enough.
