I received a compact clump of 13 fans from a NGA member on October 27, 2016. It is planted in a different raised bed than my other smaller clump of Beautiful Edgings. The member I got the larger clump from lives in Idaho (zone 7a). Interestingly, it bloomed very early, on February 23, 2017:

This same clump re-bloomed again on May 31, 2017 through middle of June:

Photo taken on June 5th. Blooms turn more yellow by the afternoon. Bloom holds up well in full sun, but the bloom tends to droop downward as the day goes on:

On June 25, 2017, the other clump in a different raised bed began to bloom. I believe this is probably the "normal" bloom time frame for my zone 9b/10a:

Besides the drooping afternoon blooms, the scapes sometimes lean because the flowers are too heavy to hold them upright. It is VERY pod and pollen fertile. I love this plant and am trying to hybridize it with another tall cultivar with a stronger scape. It also seems to be rust resistant, which is a big plus here in Florida.
What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters, compared to what lies within us.
