Larry - I don't know about that dip gene, but I have seen others that also are questionable in the Plant database and the AHS. I do know that BWW is a tet and she breeds with other tets. I've never tried breeding her with a dip. So, who knows?
Betty Warren Woods bloomed for me again this year in May. The exact date I do not know because my computer was infected with a virus and I lost some photos including the stats photo.

I acquired 2 fans two years ago (almost to the day) of this cultivar. It has increased to 5 fans. Not as many buds on this new (2nd rebloom) scape. Short scape. The blooms always open perfectly. A very attractive ruffled yellow bloom.
