You just have to love the names hybridizers come up with, Curt Hanson has some great ones including Panties in a Knot.
Valerie, Point of Divergence has a super plant as well as the pretty bloom, good parent too.
Hot and humid today, the daylilies are really starting to take off now. Should be entering peak next Wed. if anyone wants to visit us in Vermont during bloom season send me a tmail.
Jamaican Jammin, this one is registered as a 6" bloom. I've never measured it but I believe it is closer to 7" here. The color is a vibrant rose with hints of lavender.
Jerry Hyatt FFO'd today. One of my most favorite blooms in the garden...not my best image, once the clump gets going there will be more opportunities for images.
John R. Pike, pretty bloom with a nice green throat.
My Gal Sal, am I the only one on the forum that grows this sweet little one? Perfect mini bagels first thing in the morning...she's an EMO as well as being just plain cute.
Night Embers, totally distinctive double, toss your label out. Once you've seen it you'll know it anywhere. A classic.
Razzle Dazzle Candy, I really like this one. The color gets better as the season progresses, less beige more cream. For a registered evergreen this one is perfectly happy for me in zone 4.
Two pleated Sculpted forms from Curt Hanson...
Stealth Bomber and The Future of Desire
Stenciled Infusion, new here this year...I think I'm going to reallllly like this one once it settles in
West of the Moon, parent to Witch Hollow.
Where There is Desire, extra large bright raspberry red.
