It's been a while since I've posted seedlings to the seedling threads. Bloom is just picking up and I thought I'd share a few images of keepers from previous years that are blooming now.
Years ago I had a small line of patterns I was working with and after deciding to narrow focus I stopped doing pattern x pattern crosses. The first sdlg below bloomed in the last pattern seedling crop and made me rethink my "focus" to allow about 100 pattern x pattern seeds to be planted each year.
The main focus for many years has been Sculpted forms. Sculpted forms were recognized and accepted for registration 7 years ago. The definitions can be found here in the AHS dictionary http://www.daylilies.org/ahs_d...
