You are right! The cukes sure know how to hide. Seriously!
I can be digging through the leaves of the growing Cucumber plants (not many)--
and not find any until I go and look from behind at the plant--and there they are!!
Found one of the "Too long on the vine--big and fat" b/c it was almost touching the
soil. Geez! It WAS almost too ripe to eat! Gave it to my neighbor.
I have now made several jars-full of my yummy pickles All sizes.
If I was going to the swap--I would bring a couple big jars-full.
Looks like I will be staying home.
I feel pretty "Blahh" about going--but i could be convinced.. to change my mind..
