It is not a hardy fuchsia, it has to be brought in... I'd say it's probably zone 10? It may be ok with a light frost but not a hard freeze. But it enjoys cooler weather in general and needs temps to dip to 60s-70s(f) to bloom.

It is in fact VERY big, it's a fuchsia tree, thick trunk and all. It's about 5-6 feet tall at least right now. I don't think it's going to get significantly bigger until I get it into its 8 gallon pot, though. You can prune it to be shorter and bushier - I directed this guy to grow tall and relatively skinny when he was young.
