Another site you may want to check out is Flowers by the Sea, they are having a 30% off sale at www.fbts.com
I picked up a few more Salvia's they are arriving today! Here is my latest order:
Salvia guaranitica 'Elk Argentina Skies' I picked up two more of these, I like the ones that I ordered earlier in the year they are starting to take off and do well know. I love the color of these.
Salvia greggii 'Dark Dancer' A new one for me, but I saw a plant at last years Salvia Summit and I knew I would eventually get some. They had big flowers for the greggii's and I loved the color as well.
Salvia microphylla 'Killer Cranberry' A first for me.
Salvia x 'Christine Yeo' A first for me.]
Salvia guaranitica 'Purple Haze' Excited for this one as well. I love the flower shape of the guaranitica's as a whole. Love when the hummers pollinate them, their whole head gets swallowed by the flower.
Salvia fulgens A first for me as well. Love the fuzzy intense red flowers (saw these at a botanical garden and had to get them.
I also picked up a few Burgundy Seduction from Annie's Annuals when they had a sale.
I have a garden hybrid (Lipstick and Marachino) I believe are the parents as it grew directly below Lipstick (where lipstick grew last year anyway it didn't survive the winter). This Salvia has amazing red/orange/pink color...don't really know what color it is. I'll have to post some pics of it. I hope it survives the winter...I may take cuttings of it just in case. Here is a pic of the Salvia.
